After moving to Midhurst in 2016 into an Arts and Crafts house built in 1903, our client developed a passion for gardening and dreamed of owning a greenhouse. She wanted a structure that was not only beautiful and practical but also complemented her house and garden.

Upon contacting Alitex, she visited our show site in South Harting. As an avid supporter of local and independent businesses, she was drawn to the family history of Alitex. The attention to detail and quality of the greenhouses stood out. She chose the National Trust Hidcote, painted in Wood Sage to match her home’s window frames and doors.

“My greenhouse was completed in July 2019, and I haven’t looked back since! I added a beautiful chandelier from ‘The Place on West Street’—an antique shop full of treasures. I also found a delightful white table from Haus in Haslemere and added two chairs. I’ve had an amazing year growing, planting, reading, and simply enjoying my greenhouse. It’s ‘good for the soul’! In one sentence, it brings me joy. The service, quality, and ethos of Alitex perfectly fit my simple yet unique life in Midhurst.”

She shares her greenhouse journey and passion for gardening on her Instagram account, @mymidhurstlife, where you can see how this beautiful addition has become a central feature of her home and lifestyle.

“We’re thoroughly enjoying our Alitex Greenhouse – I never knew that growing my own plants, flowers and salads could be this much fun.”
