We are delighted to welcome Hortus Poeticus as they join us to deliver a stunning Table Scaping Workshop. Using seasonal foraged and evergreen foliage, along with naturally dried flowers, seed heads, and berries grown in Hampshire. The workshop will guide you in creating beautiful, nature-inspired decorations for Christmas.

This workshop offers the freedom to let your creativity flow, with an abundance of seasonal materials to choose from. At Hortus Poeticus, the ethos is to tread lightly and kindly upon this precious earth, appreciating all of its treasures. Together, we’ll celebrate the beauty that each season brings and take a moment to truly appreciate it.

Amidst the flurry and noise of the festive season, these workshops offer a perfect moment of pause, a chance to slow down, take time for yourself, and indulge in the simple joy of creating with nature.

Arrangement Ingredients:

Spruce, sugar pine, holly, cypress, pittosporum, senecio, rose hips, hawthorn, ivy berries. Hortus Poeticus will also use seed heads, dried hops, dried hydrangea heads in blues and reds along with mixed colour strawflowers and dried limonium & bracken for texture.

What’s Included:

Attendees will leave with everything they need to create a beautiful tablescape in the signature Hortus style. The workshop includes two low bowl arrangements, five bud vases, and two ikebana-inspired kenzan arrangements. Elegant tapered candles will also be provided to complete the look.

We’ll be serving English sparkling wine or Elderflower with cake for you to enjoy throughout the workshop.
