We searched for many years to find the perfect site that would enable us to run the entire business as well as offer space to create a show site worthy of our glasshouses. In the late 1990s we discovered Torberry Farm, located in the heart of the South Downs (just outside Petersfield on the Hampshire/Sussex border) which has been our home ever since.
Our Show Site and Factory
Torberry Farm has enabled us to do everything on one site; from design, manufacture, build, paint and even the trial-assembly of many of our glasshouses and conservatories prior to delivery. We have created a landscaped show area with a lean-to bespoke greenhouse, a National Trust Mottisfont greenhouse and a conservatory as well as a more contemporary styled atrium – allowing visitors to enjoy the complete glasshouse experience.
We always encourage people to visit us at Torberry Farm, not only to see how people and plants thrive under glass but also to experience an Alitex structure first hand. You can also spend some time in our design office and take a tour of our factory.
Our usual office hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm although we have frequent Open Days on Saturdays and can arrange viewings at weekends by special appointment. Friends, family and pets are all welcome!
