Simply Healthy Pancakes

Pancake Ingredients

Last month, we shared our warming winter pie recipe which utilises all of the winter season's delicious vegetable crop. Today we're celebrating Shrove Tuesday with our simply healthy, gluten and dairy free pancake recipe.

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 egg

  • To create your pancake batter, use a handheld blender to combine the oats, banana and egg

  • On a medium heat, put a teaspoon of butter or coconut oil into a large frying pan

  • Ladle the batter into the pan, creating 10cm circles

  • Flip when little bubbles start to form on the tops of the pancakes

  • Remove from the pan once both sides are golden brown

  • Top with your favourite treats and serve!
