Coming back to regular life from a super summer can be a bit disheartening – but fear not, we have a month of fun lined up which is sure to give you at least one reason to be cheerful...

Tuesday 2 - Sunday 7 September  RHS Wisley Flower Show

Our second year at the show with our mobile Hidcote greenhouse, nestled in amongst the beautiful gardens. A great opportunity to see the gardens at their best PLUS the Dahlia Society Annual Show. Our team will be there to answer your Alitex questions.

Wednesday 10 September - A Garden Designers’ Garden in Cheshire

An opportunity to enjoy an accompanied  private viewing of Wendy Platt’s garden (Part of the Cheshire based design duo “Secateur  Sisters”.) Homemade cakes are promised, which surely makes it the perfect morning in Cheshire?!

Thursday 11 September - The Alitex Lecture with Cleve West. 7.15pm for 8pm. Alitex HQ, Torberry Farm, South Harting, Petersfield, Hampshire. GU31 5RG

Cleve West MSGD, not only an award-winning designer but a keen allotment gardener will share his life in horticulture. Cleve has judged at both Hampton and Chelsea Flower shows and is a regular contributor in the gardening media. 

Pre-lecture please join us at 7pm for drinks at our show site and browse our glasshouses.

Tickets: £10 per person. 

Saturday 13 September 10am - 4pm. Alitex Home and Garden Open Day 

Come and meet the team who will be on hand to discuss your projects and offer advice. Factory tours and design demo’s will be on offer plus a variety of home and garden themed exhibits, talks and diversions. Miranda Gore-Browne a finalist from series 1 of the Great British Bake Off will be here and Paul Gallivan from NT's Woolbeding will be show casing propagation methods. There are all kinds of ideas for the home and garden along with the opportunity to look around our HQ - structures, factory and design office.

Refreshments are included. 

Monday 15 September - The Pig, Studland Bay, Dorset. A "Drop-In", open day

Wednesday 17 September - Billy Showell Art Workshop “Summer Blooms”. All skill levels welcome to enjoy painting in watercolour. Tickets £60 including a light lunch. All enquiries classeswithbilly@gmail.com 

Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 September. Country Life Fair at Fulham Palace. 

Having built the large scale Victorian replica greenhouse within the walled garden, we will be centre position to chat to you about Alitex and share our knowledge and experience.Come and meet the team.
