Alitex have recently built a new glasshouse at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The Kew gardens shop team were looking for a beautiful display area to present their plants and gardening items for sale. Alitex fitted their requirements perfectly with the Victorian style structures echoing Kew's own historic designs.
The greenhouse was originally exhibited at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017, it measures 2.6m x 3m and features two doors on either gable allowing for easy access for all visitors to the shop. The greenhouse is petite but provides plenty of display are with benching on either side.
You can see the greenhouse as you approach the gift shop and café. It is powder coated in an increasingly popular dark bronze colour with traditional Victorian ornate details that have earned Alitex their professional recommendations from horticultural experts and garden designers around the world.
