Our clients discovered Alitex through their existing association with the Royal Horticultural Society, as well as seeing Alitex featured in a variety of magazines.
An important factor for our clients was that Alitex's aluminium design must be in keeping with the surrounding setting, as their property sits within the boundaries of a Grade II listed building. Our client chose the Wimpole greenhouse from our National Trust Collection, the traditional Victorian details compliment their existing Dovecote.
At the end of a stone path, settled to the right of an inviting swimming pool the client's structure incorporates the entirety of the garden as the powder-coated wood sage finish matches the exterior of the property. The Wimpole has also provided our client with a retreat in which her horticultural ideas can begin to flourish. Now with her own personal gardening haven, our client can plan future gardening projects, collect seeds and determine the finite details of landscaping the surrounding areas.
With the opportunity to experiment and explore our client's greenhouse has already been home to a variety of vegetables and plants. First introduced into the structure were Spinach, Radish, Beetroot and a Sarracenia plant. Our client is currently expanding her grower's repertoire with Tomatoes, which rest in a custom made compost bed, Aubergines, Leeks, Cosmos, Teasels, Echinacea, Aquilegia and a thriving Lemon tree.
From discovering Alitex to the execution and installation of their greenhouse, our clients were delighted with the quality of service they experienced throughout their journey and they will undoubtedly enjoy the use of their greenhouse for years to come.
