Join us at Malvern Spring Festival 2016

Malvern Spring Festival

With Harrogate Spring Flower Show been and gone, we send our mobile Scotney greenhouse to Malvern Spring Festival. On the 5th to 8th of May the Three Counties Showground will open its doors to reveal show gardens, plant exhibits and expert talks all set with the Malvern Hills as a backdrop. We'll be located on the Members Avenue at stand F547, so make sure you come and say hello.

Show Garden
This year the festival is featuring a large number of school gardens to actively involve children to engage with gardening. So if you bring along your children be sure to check out the programme of activities helping entertain young people throughout the day. There are also advice talks and practical workshops in the demonstration area, 'Get Going, Get Growing Theatre' where you too can become actively involved. Take a break between the presentations and walk around the stunning Show Gardens, being the centre of attention, the gardens are designed and created by numerous horticultural industry experts. Many of them new to the industry, have gone on to achieve RHS Medals and launch successful careers. The Show Gardens explore a range of settings from romance and retreats to royalties, there will be plenty to keep you intrigued.

Many of the gardens represent emotional experiences helping to build awareness for the charities and heritage they are supporting. Alongside representing treatments, counselling and serene spaces lies The Macmillan Legacy garden, designed by Mark Eveleigh in raising awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support. Travel through the vast range of gardens and explore different stories helping you to imagine creating your own tranquil space.

Joe Swift
We're not only looking forward to the beautiful range of gardens but also the knowledgeable celebrity talks available for you to listen to! Garden experts include Joe Swift, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein and many more, offering advice and tips for you to take home. If you miss Joe Swift at Malvern, he'll be our guest speaker on the 15th September at the Alitex Annual Lecture. During the long weekend of Malvern, there are also several presentations by food experts taking place whilst you enjoy afternoon tea, the guest speakers include Mary Berry, Valentine Warner and Mark Diacono. Be sure to check the Festivals schedule for the full list of speakers.

We'll be presenting our Scotney greenhouse, part of our National Trust greenhouse collection. The Scotney greenhouse is elegantly designed for limited garden spaces but still providing enough room and pots or benching. We'll be filling ours with an array of plants, greenery and bright blossom that you won't want to miss. Stop by stand F547 on the Members Avenue near the Floral Marquee!
