Home and Garden Open Day at Torberry: Saturday 13 September 10am – 4pm

Home and garden open day

Whilst we have open mornings at seasonal points throughout the year, there comes a time when we want to make a bit more of a day of it – with all the bells and whistles and singing maidens (just tuning up our vocal chords as we speak).

On a more orderly note, we are delighted to invite you to our HQ for a late summer day out. Tour around our factory to see how we create our glass and aluminium structures and how we powder coat for a finish which lasts a lifetime. We have greenhouses, a conservatory and atrium to wander around and the team on hand to answer any questions. Bring along your plans and dimensions if you have got that far – or simply come around to find out more about us.

Why not consider making a day of it and spend some time with our hand-picked group of exhibitors, many of whom will be putting on demo’s at intervals through the event.

We’ll be joined by a host of friends showing of their wares...

Edward Barnsley Furniture, Miranda Gore-Browne (who came third in the BBC’s very 1st “Great British Bake Off”)with the promise of some delicious biscuits and new book signings. Muntons Plant Supports,

David Harber’s sculpture, Gaze Burvill’s outdoor handmade wooden furniture. Marina Christopher from Phoenix Perennials will be attracting wildlife with her plants which pop up all over RHS Flower Show gardens, such is their high regard.

The team from the National Trust’s garden at Woolbeding will be on hand to give some top gardening tips through out the day.

I’m sure we will be adding to this list as September gets closer, but I hope you agree there is lots to see with refreshments being provided throughout the day.
