Getting a helping hand from Thrive, the gardening charity which changes lives

Jim from Thrive, checking on the plants

It is always inspiring at this time of year to know that our plants destined for the RHS flower shows (for 2014: Chelsea, Hampton and Tatton) are in the good and capable hands of our friends at Thrive.

They form an essential part of our stand at each show, helping us display our greenhouses to better effect.

We look forward to following the progress of these seedlings as they are nurtured by the Thrive team at their HQ in Battersea Park, complete with an Alitex greenhouse. Thrive aims to change the lives of people through gardening and Alitex is delighted to be involved once again, with such a worthwhile charity. Our show stand at Chelsea is planted up by gardeners from Thrive’s "Working it Out", scheme – it is treated as a reward for working so hard through the preceding five months.

We hope to keep you up to date with progress.
