'An English love affair - the SAA Gardening Conference'

Alitex bespoke greenhouse in a beautiful English garden

On the 5th November we will be venturing over to Suffolk for the second time this year, with our mobile greenhouse, for the Suffolk Agricultural Association’s 6th Bi-Annual gardening conference.

The gardening world has many of us hooked; you don’t have to convince us here at Alitex that everyone should be involved in this rewarding form of art. Nurturing a plant from seed to bloom, gives a sense of achievement that is hard to find elsewhere; you can express yourself and experience real escapism when you’re pottering away in your very own back yard.

This is what the SAA are celebrating at this year’s conference ‘Gardening – an English love affair.’ Not only will you be able to hear inspirational talks from industry experts, you will also get the opportunity to do a spot of shopping amongst the trade exhibitors – which is where you will find us along with our mobile Scotney greenhouse, taken from our National Trust collection.

The day, which runs from 9:30am – 3:30pm, will feature talks from garden designer James Hoblyn, garden maker extraordinaire Alan Gray and garden designer, TV presenter and journalist James Alexander-Sinclair, talking about 21st century gardens.

For more information on what the day has in store or to buy your tickets, visit the website here. If you would like to chat to us to about our involvement with the event, call us on 01730 826 900.
