Many Alitex clients look to combine their projects and have their greenhouse and conservatory installations carried out as one.
This particular project is a great example.
To fully replicate their existing timber greenhouse and to complement this with a glasshouse style conservatory.
This Grade II listed property in a conservation area, in the New Forest in Hampshire, required planning permission.
The conservatory and greenhouse combined structure is some 17 metres long with an average depth of 3.5metres. The design of the conservatory needed to mirror the lower eaves feature of the traditional Victorian greenhouse.
The final design also incorporated Alitex windows, doors and guttering system to a more traditional extension incorporating a tiled roof.
Alitex took full responsibility for the supply and installation of the aluminium and glass content of the project, with the planning and project management being handled by the customer's architects, Radley House Partnership.
