Dominic Palmer, the head gardener of a large private estate has an infectious enthusiasm for the Alitex greenhouse he works in – and visits at least twice a day. His clear love of this relatively recent addition to the newly appointed walled garden is obvious in the way that the shelves are packed full of cuttings and flowers for twelve months a year.
