Alitex is thrilled to be hosting its first ever Living Wreath Workshop at Torberry Farm on Tuesday 19 November. Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas and these come with a particular twist on the festive classic. This workshop will focus on using succulents and why they are the best type of plant for hanging on your door. To book tickets to this exciting event click here.
Joining us for the workshop, to teach us how to make these beautiful wreaths is Between Two Thorns. Between Two Thorns started as a stall in Brighton selling cut flowers, fast forward to today where Founder Alys Dobbie and her talented team have turned their hand at plants. Still based in Brighton, Between Two Thorns have adopted the philosophy of providing a ‘damn good service to damn fine people’.
The little plant shop does more than just sell a vast array of plants; they are involved with styling events such as weddings, and offer group workshops. From learning how to make terrariums to floral crowns and living wreaths, these inspiring classes are a great opportunity to explore what plants have to offer. Alys says ‘Plants make people happy. So does coffee, cake and learning. Between Two Thorns is a haven where people can munch cake, and slurp coffee whilst learning new skills in a happy environment.’ We’re sold, aren’t you?
