THE PIG – on the beach
Located in Studland this Sussex Emerald greenhouse is attached to the walled kitchen garden at each gable end. When designing and planning their structure they wanted to ensure they have varying growing zones – made possible by the internal partitions. The team utilise the greenhouse to get the seedlings growing, and then harden them off in the Cold Frames ready to be planted out into the garden. Most of the restaurants’ plants grow in the central section.
