As part of our season of celebrating champions it is perhaps timely to recognise our great friends at Thrive who do such constructive positive things for people who want to change their lives through gardening. It was a pleasure this year to have a couple of the talented gardeners from Thrive planting up the Alitex stand – we had so many admirers of the plantings and the stand won an award, so clearly the Thrive team contributed in no small part. See our image of Jim from Thrive hard at work on the stand.
We have been fortunate this year to attend and support a number of events at the Thrive Herb Garden in Battersea Park and delighted for Thrive at their new relationship with Jo Malone.
“The Old English Garden is being transformed into a blooming hub for the community thanks to Jo Malone Limited, top garden designer and RHS Chelsea 2012 gold medal winner Sarah Price and the amazing gardeners attending Thrive's Working it Out programme.” Thrive web site.
We look forward to another year of developing working relationships and friendships.
