Angus White, who will be delivering the talk on the 29th, started the plant nursery “Architectural Plants” in 1990.
He chose the name because in the jargon of horticulture, ‘architectural plants' is used to describe plants which have their own ‘architecture’ – strong and spectacular shapes which bring a distinctive year-round presence to a garden.
The main nursery is in Horsham, West Sussex and an additional 35 acre site in Pulborough is under development.
Architectural Plants offer a garden design, planting and maintenance service in addition to their broad selection of plants. For the most part, they grow their own stock and import from Italy where necessary; this means that the team go out to Italy and hand-pick each plant.
Imogen Padfield of Architectural Plants says “We're perfectionists and hugely knowledgable. We work in a truly beautiful place and value creativity and thinking outside of the box. We're passionate about plants and creating beautiful gardens.”
Join us at 2pm when Angus White will share his wisdom on plants and planting.
