The National Trust Greenhouse

The National Trust is a charity that operates completely independently of government. All their income is generated from memberships, donations, legacies and revenue raised from their commercial operations.

Over the years The National Trust has approached various businesses to develop products that reflect the inspiration and heritage of the historic land and buildings it protects.

They approached us in 2004 to create a range of National Trust Greenhouses. And, after careful design and development, we launched our initial range of Greenhouses at Chelsea Flower Show in 2006.

Since then we extended our range further in 2008 with the Mottisfont, which we took to Chelsea that year. The Mottisfont was designed to provide the focal point of a potager or kitchen garden with a lovely central flat fronted lobby.

2008 saw such great interest in the Mottisfont that we are now proud to have added another 3 larger structures to the range, each with a flat fronted lobby – The Cliveden, The Wimpole and The Tatton.

We now offer 7 National Trust Greenhouses and for each one sold we make a contribution of 5% to the Trust. This means that to date we have raised close to £100,000 for them, every penny of which goes towards the wonderful restoration and conservation work they do.

“The National Trust Greenhouse is modelled on original heritage structures but being made of easy to maintain materials, it’s a great combination of style and modern technology.'
