Why Aluminium
Why have we chosen to build entirely out of aluminium?
There are numerous reasons we have chosen aluminium for our conservatory construction – here are just a few:
- It is light and easy to handle
- It is strong
- It is corrosion resistant and therefore virtually maintenance free
- It is a natural resource being the third most abundant element in the earth’s crust (after oxygen and silicon)
- Almost every aluminium product can be commercially recycled at the end of its useful life without loss of metal quality or properties – a true ‘green’metal with a practically infinite lifespan
Even if it is scratched it will not rust, corrode, or rot due to the amazing ability of aluminium to protect itself through oxidation.
