...have been achieved from this stunning observatory tower at the heart of a new build home on the South Downs.
A simple contemporary Alitex roof has been added to the tower which is the perfect solution for a spot with such awkward access.
The roof is a 30 degree pitch pyramid shape supported on a vertical section to raise it up and create enough head room. The chosen colour is Wood Sage from our National Trust range and it complements the house perfectly.
Internally the roof is accessed by a beautiful oak staircase, and now acts as an observatory and ultimate star gazing spot.
The tower is 4 metres square.
