At Alitex we are happy to admit that a wooden conservatory does look beautiful. And it is that elegant beauty that our aluminium conservatories successfully emulate. Even close up, unless someone points it out, you’ll probably still believe you are standing inside a wooden conservatory. However, from then on there is no comparison.
Each project is unique, making the best use of double glazed, expanses of glass in both contemporary and traditional styles. We design with great structural integrity in accordance with relevant British Standards, using the best quality materials and products on the market. However, the single biggest benefit of aluminium is that you never have to even contemplate all the painstaking maintenance and painting associated with a wooden equivalent. Your Alitex conservatory is a one off investment, that’s built to last.
A conservatory gives you an opportunity to create a year round living space that extends your home and enhances your lifestyle. It can open up your house and bring light into your home, and using bi-fold or sliding doors, flexibly blur the boundaries between inside and out.
Even on the greyest days, a conservatory is a brighter place to be!
Alitex do not have a standard range of conservatories. Everyone, every home and every project is different. Our conservatory gallery displays samples of our work, but if you cannot see what you are looking for, please call. One of our conservatory designers will be happy to discuss your project in more detail. Be it a conservatory on a Grade II listed cottage, or a thoroughly contemporary home extension, our experts have the design flair and engineering skills to create a selection of design concepts to choose from.
Today, instead of having to use your imagination, we use 3D design tools so you can get a clear idea of what your conservatory will look like in situ and from all angles. By seeing a realistic representation, we can ensure your vision is interpreted as faithfully as possible. We can even produce computer visuals in a style to suit you.
Building a conservatory can be a rewarding project in which you can really have total input and be fully involved. In fact, to get the best end result, the more time you spend on the planning phase the better, whether that’s with your architect or with us directly.
Having received some photos or plans of your home, we will arrange a discussion with you to ensure we fully understand your vision. This may include exploring an initial concept and an outline budget.
After visiting you at home to assess the project first hand, we return to the design studio and explore all the options and configurations. We then send you our ideas for further discussion and to facilitate the final decision about the ideal option to suit you and your home.
Once you have chosen the design and placed an order, we can help you with planning permission and building regulations as necessary and schedule the work into the factory.
At Alitex we can offer complete building services to include the plumbing and electrical works required. If you have a preferred builder, we are equally happy to provide a full set of building drawings and work closely with them to ensure the building works are of the required specification and quality.
If you are an architect acting on behalf of a client, please get in touch and we will be happy to provide you with a full set of section profile drawings, photos of finishing details and up to date technical details as required.
