Greenhouse Engineering
The design and construction of a traditional greenhouse is all about the details. Our two glazing systems - the Messenger and the Traditional - are flawless celebrations of horticultural function, and are testament to over half a century of greenhouse engineering experience. The finished greenhouses are composed of precisely engineered aluminium extrusions, sustained by stainless steel fixings, combining to create excellent structural integrity with a clean interior uncluttered by excessive supports.
The Messenger and The Traditional greenhouse glazing systems are both engineered to the same standards of excellence, with the elegant lines and proportions of classic heritage greenhouses. The basic difference between the two is that the fixings for The Messenger are all hidden within the body of the structure, whereas they are visible on the inside of The Traditional. By hiding the fixings, and with other features such as a screw-free glazing system, The Messenger satisfies the demand for timber replication in aluminium, while meeting conservation standards. This makes it the choice for low-maintenance greenhouses in the grounds of listed properties, conservation areas and heritage sites. As well as being approved by UK conservation officers, the Messenger satisfies even America's tough planning laws
Designs are thoroughly tested and everything is put together in the factory to ensure fit and to ‘foresee the unforeseen’. Ultimately your framework is protected by a lifetime guarantee.
We do not simply erect garden structures, we engineer beautiful ones; glasshouses as pleasing to the eye as they are perfect for their function. Designed and built to BS5502, BS6339, BS8119 & BS1474', you will have no gaps, no niggles, no painting and no loose ends.
